Jordan Mansky was the lucky winner of Impact, the cable wakeboarding film and a 2-hour pass at Adrenaline Adventures. He and his family were spectators of the WWA Worlds Cable Tour that took place at the Winnipeg cable park and Jordan won because he’s a lucky dude and he took the time to fill out many Wake2wake.ca draw cards.  

Jordan, a snowboarder that often rides at Springhill Winter Park, was used to standing sideways but not on the water. Jordan and his family are also water sports but he usually gets his pull from a boat and he usually does it on his kneeboard. In other words, Wakeboarding was something new to him but he was stoked to give it a try on the System 2.0. Jordan’s rad little Sis, Delaney, was happy to tag along and give it a try with her older bro’.

The duo’s cable instructor for their session was Mike Fisette. Mike explained all the proper techniques on how to get up onto the surface of the water and how to do a turnaround at the end of the 2-way cable. Unfortunately, the calm morning weather turned as a cold front blew away the warm air. Rain started flying near horizontal and everyone had to take cover, ending the winner’s session early.

Hopefully, we will see this dynamic duo again at Adrenaline Adventures charging the corners and hitting the rails in the near future.
