Arriving in Winnipeg in early June to wakeboard and wakeskate at Adrenaline Adventures, Mickey Henry and Colt came to an unfinished cable wakeboard park; a lake surrounded by a muddy field. Instead of pissing off and going back to Ontario, in true Canadian fashion, they picked up shovels and got to work, helping the crew of landscapers get the job done.

Some of their efforts paid off. Mickey and Colt were able to test the cable systems as they were being installed. This also gave them enough practice to ride and do well in the Canadian Cable Nationals. Mickey riding Open Obstacles and Colt making the competition sweat in wakeskate. In fact, stepping up for a wounded soldier, Mickey replaced injured Manitoba rider, Matt Bass in the WWA World Cable Tour and the Monster Triple Crown where he placed 2^nd in the Open Obstacles category.
